Happy New Year!! A new look for 2006!

2006 is looking like a great year so far! Best wishes to all my friends and family for a great year.
Next year Me, Kris, my parents, and my neice Tina will be celebrating New Year’s Eve at 3Dives in Negril! I’m also planning an Easter Week trip.
Starting 2006 with a new look and an upgraded blog. Thanks to a new hosting company and the magic of WordPress and Gallery 2.0, expect many enhancements over the next few months.

Happy New Year,
I always enjoy reading this blog. Negril is my home away from home. I’m going back the end of March. Can’t hardley wait.

In all the years I’ve spent in my fabulous Negril, I had never been for New Year’s until “05″. What a mistake. To crowded. Everyone either comes home or decides to vacation there during that time. Couldn’t even cross Norman Manley for the car’s and Everyone seemed bound and determined to get to Alfred’s for the fireworks that never happened because he was unable to get a permit. I sat over by Juna (the nice Rasta who sells the Peanut soup across from Bourbon Beach (DeBuss) and watched the traffic in gridlock because there was nothing else to do. All my local friends, except the one’s who where working, say they don’t come out during this time because of the over crowded streets. The disappointing part for me was the fact that everything was marked up tremendously, therefore there were very few people actually in establishments. I will selfishly spend my time in Negril from now on the way I like it. Relatively mine.
